In Detail
This is a step-up from the 95 litre entry level freezer and provides an additional 40 litres in a package only about 8cm wider and 8cm deeper. All for only around £20 more.
New Electronic Controls
A recent redesign has seen new electronic controls replace the older rotary dial for more precise temperature setting. An improvement in efficiency means the unit is now promoted to group E in the A-G rating scale.
Stand Out(side) Feature
Like most people, you may not have space to accommodate a chunky cabinet around the house, but Fridgemaster have your back!
They've confirmed this freezer is suitable for outbuildings such as garages, even if the temperature gets as low as -15 degrees Celsius thanks to its WinterGuard feature.
User feedback is very good overall, with people praising both the freezer's compact size and suitability for the garage. Another basket wouldn't go amiss though and the manual could be clearer, although thankfully it's an easy to use product.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this freezer frost free?
No freezers are currently frost free. Manufacturers recommend defrosting twice a year. Unplug the drain port at the front to let defrosted ice from inside run off into a suitable container.
Does this freezer have a 'step' inside?
Yes, in common with most freezers there is a boxed-off area at the bottom that contains the motor electrical components. This is not included in the 142 litres of storage.
Is this product really suitable for outbuildings?
Yes, this product includes Beko's Freezerguard technology that protects the electronics and allows the unit to work safely down to -15 degrees Celsius. You might see a minimum temperature of +10 degrees Celsius mentioned in this "Climate Class" but this rating has not been updated to include these newer freezer types.
Where can I buy an additional basket?
Partmaster has them for around £20. Link to them and other basket options here

It was bought to go in the Garage due to its large temperature range but, as it's so quiet in operation and the kitchen units are black, it remains in the kitchen unnoticed. I can honestly say without doubt I am really impressed
Been an excellent buy, it’s not the largest in the range but it has great capacity and it more than meets our needs. It’s a fantastic piece of kit quiet and very easy to use would definitely recommend this product
I love my new chest freezer. Trendy black. Looks great and although it measures the same as the old one I seem to be able to get more in it!
Very pleased with the freezer except the control dial marker should be a different colour so you can see it due to its location, I used a dab of bright nail varnish on the arrow pointer.
That's a very good tip!
