In Detail

Logik is one of Curry's own brands, and produce a variety of household electricals that are high on specification and low on price, usually because they are rebadged versions of other well-known brands.

High Spec

This is currently the middle model in the range and offers a generous 308 litres of usable storage, a lockable lid and an interior light so it has quite a high specification.

The freezer is mounted on castors for easy movement and it comes with two baskets which is better than some rival makes that only supply one, though three would be better given the unit's size.

A front-mounted drain port helps make the chore of defrosting easier and the freezer can keep food safe for up to 36 hours in the event of a power cut.

An interior light is a welcome feature for night-time food raids

The touch panel is a modern way to control the freezer features

New for 2023

The control panel mounted on the lower right is a modern touch panel affair with some cool blue leds showing the current temperature.

Another plus point is the E rating for energy - most chest freezers, especially of this size are F rated (on the scale of A to G with A being the best).

Doesn't Likes The Outside

Unlike some of the smaller models in the Logik range, this freezer is not suitable for keeping in the garage or outbuilding. We're not sure why they didn't include the WinterGuard technology that allows this, it seems a bit of an omission for such a big freezer.

Our View

Despite the fact that you'll need to house this in the kitchen or utility room, it otherwise has a very high specification and the bargain price is very attractive for the storage offered.

No it is not designed to be kept in unheated outbuildings where the temperature will dip below 10 degrees Celsius.

Does this freezer have a 'step' inside?
Yes, in common with most freezers there is a boxed-off area at the bottom that contains the motor electrical components. This does not take any space from the quoted storage capacity.
