Another basic own brand model from Currys that just does what it says on the tin. It's a popular seller with some good user feedback.
It offers 95 litres of usable storage making it most suitable for a single or two person household, or perhaps an overflow freezer for a family.
One wire basket is supplied, and there is a front drain port to make defrosting easier. Currys say that this is suitable for outbuildings such as garages, even if the temperature gets as low as -15 degrees Celsius thanks to its Winter Security feature.
In the event of a power cut, food is kept safe for up to 24 hours which is quite reasonable given the unit's size and cost.
One of the cheapest chest freezers that you can keep safely in the garage.
One thing we've noticed is that this appears to be the same model as the Fridgemaster MCF95 although this Essentials version is a bit cheaper.
Compact and garage friendly with good user feedback. Comes with one basket”
