IN A SENTENCE...
Budget level large freezer that comes with two baskets and has good storage for the price
A budget chest freezer that has a very large storage capacity for its low price, though it is a little short on extras - there's no light or lockable lid for example.
It does come with 2 baskets though, and the counterbalanced lid stops it slamming shut on you when you're reaching in for the frozen peas!
The freezer is capable of keeping food safe to eat for up to 24 hours in the event of a power cut, which is helpful although this is less than some rivals.
Energy consumption is about average for its size and the price is reasonable. A front drain plug is a nice touch and will make defrosting much easier.
Although this unit is capable of working in air temperatures down to 10 degrees Celsius, Bush have stated this is NOT suitable for use in unheated areas like garages - and this applies to all current Bush chest freezers.
